As the Waters Covers the Sea ( Revival )

If you had personally taken time to review the current events against the canvas of biblical end time prophesies, you will tell that we are at the end time and the coming of the lord is no longer a distant thought. As we age, we see that the coming of the lord is no longer distant like we had assumed while growing up. As showed in the bible THE SIGNS OF THE END TIME- in 2 Timo 3;1-7; This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with diver's lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 

God has assigned work of the gospel to his children in Mark 16;15 - And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  in Psalm 110;3a 3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power.  

These days we see how some are willing and not forced in how they are offering themselves as living sacrifice to be used in propagating the gospel and brining sinners to Christ.  

As women, we are not left out in this mission of bringing souls to the kingdom. We are labeled with so many titles with responsibilities attached to it . As we age, our title changes, so also our responsibilities increase. We are first seen as a daughter, sister, wife, daughter in-law, mother, mother – in-law, Grandmother. The title goes on and on as God allows. 

Although our responsibilities increase, we should not let it take away the passion of bringing soul to Christ.  

Typical example of the life of a woman today was illustrated in the magazine (As the water covers the sea). 3 Christian women with different title, age group, career and how they navigate life with the work of God.   

Mrs.  Sarah Sanders- CEO, despite her title and role, she finds time for the lord's service by visiting orphanage, prison, old people home with food and clothing then providing them the word of God. She also preaches at schools and so on. 

LEA; a student, an employee of Sanders was challenged seeing her boss preaching the gospel, she exclaimed can she ever be opportune to ever preach again the way her boss had time for God’s work.  She loves the lord and wants to do more but her career, home and life in general are keeping her away from doing the lord's work.  

Sharon; Lea’s friend & colleague at work is also a Christian. Lea explained to Sharon her desire to give more time for God's work. Sharon explained that she had been in her shoes and encouraged her.

Your age does not excuse you from creating or committing to the work of God, These three women are of various stages of their life , the lord already knows how busy we are but when it comes to snatching the soul of sinner from hell, we are to take it seriously. We cannot relax, we need to be active in bringing souls to the kingdom of God. Soul of man perish daily.

Yes, God want us to reach out to them even with our busy schedule, we have diverse ways we can reach out to sinners today without leaving our home.  Social media is one of them (Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, Instagram just to mention a few of them.)  is a new way to do that.

We have different gadgets (android phone, Laptop, Desktop, in our possession to access these social media which does not take too much time but makes it easy for us to do the work of God. 

The great commission is a mandate binding on all Christians, both men and women. As virtuous women that we are, we need to blend this call to service into our daily chores or list to do. Zephaniah 3;16 says; 16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, fear thou not: and to Zion, let not thine hands be slack.

 I pray we will not neglect the souls of sinners in our family (spouse, children, siblings, and extended family who are not yet saved), Neighbors, friends, colleague around us, people out there in the world that we can see face to face but only reaching out through social media in Jesus’s name, amen. Our hands will not be slack in Jesus's name, amen.
