Preparation for True Revival







 Preaching alone does not bring down the fire of revival. Prayer is the key that will bring fire of revival for transformation of life and souls for the kingdom of God . Preaching and prayer work hand in hand, they both bring revival from heaven down to earth. .  

As Christian, the book of Psalm 85;6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee? This Should be our cry and prayer to win more souls for the kingdom of God.  you have been saved for quite a few years, your initial desire was to tell the world about Christ, to win souls but of recent, you have examined your life. you observed changes outlined below in your spiritual life, you need to go back to God to revive you once again 

  • Heart; Your heart is becoming lukewarm or cold to the things of God- you desire nothing of the kingdom. Your joy in Christ is not as it was when you first believed, depression and anxiety has settled in.  Your heart is hardening toward the word of God, not compassionate, tender, forgiving like Christ 
  • Thought; You have replaced faith with fear- cannot hold on to Gods promises  
  • Prayer; Your conversation is more to men than God. your place of prayer is so little that you cannot even afford time in God's presence. you feel you are so busy that 24 hours seem small to slot a quiet time with God. Activities of life is choking your prayer life- No more excitement in talking to God or serving the lord.  
 
When a Christian has observed lukewarmness in her spiritual life and is ready to pray and tarry in God's presence for a change. God has the power to revive him or her.  Luke 1;37 For with God nothing shall be impossible. Luke 24; 49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.  
In preparation for revival to fall, God does not search for Christian who are lukewarm, but Christians
  • with zeal and passion to reach out to sinners, 
  • who have forsaken the attraction or desires of this world to be fully committed to his service  
  • whose heart and conscience are void of offence toward God and men 
  • who pleases God; thoroughly obey God’s word without compromise,
  • that are ready to pray, tarry in his presence, eager to hear from God. 

God is ready to make another Elijah, Deborah and Esther out of you today, I pray we will not be left out of this precious and divine calling but be ever ready to be part of God's soldiers wining souls for Christ in Jesus Name. Amen.

The Unconquerable Team   There is a popular saying  "United we stand, divided we fall"  which is often used in mottos and phrases to inspire unity . An unconquerable team is built on practicing the rule of  doing everything in unity.   Christ love produce cordial relationships between spouses, parent, children and siblings. It creates peaceful and spiritually enriching atmosphere in the home. A Godly family mirrors Christ likeness and prioritizes the wellbeing of everyone in the home.
