THE BLESSED AND BOUYANT HOME
A home is not a building neither is it a place where you count how many cars, properties, fat bank account, achievement you acquire. but a home is a place where
- its foundation is rooted in Christ,
- where God is the head and they feed on the word of God to leads and direct their home.
- where people live in peace, love, joy, happiness, unity and in cheerfulness.
- where people plan together, run the home together and do things together
- a place where they desire heaven as their eternal abode
If you have not been totally honest or opened up to your spouse on financial matters or in decision making, it's not too late. consciously begin to include each other in all daily activities, decisions, planning. MARK 10;8 and the two shall become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two but one flesh. 9 What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.”
Prayerfully come together and seek Gods wisdom to direct your home. he alone is the builder of the home, psalm 127; 1 Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. you don't have to run your home by yourself, give it to God to build it for you and he will perfect it for you.
Family Purse: Making it work
The idea of your money is your money, and my money is my money should not be PRACTICE in a Godly home that seeks God as his foundation. The word OUR MONEY, OUR FAMILY FINANCE, should be used not 'MY.'
Family finance involves
- pooling your resources together
- sharing responsibility in paying bills
- saving and investing in project together

Being profitably engaged- money is not the only source of profitable engagement in a home. A home where both or one couple is idle can lead to constant fracas or argument. profitable engagement is not necessarily party working in an office to earn money. one can work outside the home earning, while the other keep the home running. both activities are profitable (one of the spouses can be stay home parent while the other goes out to work). when both parties are engaged in profitable activities that brings money or sense of accomplishment this will lead to better relationship at home rather than argument.
Open Communication & Honesty:
1. Couples discussing financial matters often- Colossians 3;9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; Engaging in open, honest, and regular conversations about income, expenses, debts, savings, and financial goals.

2. Couples being transparent in Financial Information: 1corin 13;7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Sharing financial information openly and willingly, including bank accounts, investments, and spending habits.no one is being stingy or reserve about their financial activities
3. Seeking qualified financial advice together: When facing significant financial decisions, difficulty, seeking trusted godly counsel/ qualified financial advice together is the key. seeking advice separately may lead to couples not being on the same page.
