Togetherness in Marriage

Togetherness in marriage is all about having a deep connection and shared life experience between partners. it also means spending quality time together, sharing experiences, and building emotional bonds.  Matthew 19;5-6 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. Partnership in marriage provides the support, love and shared experiences that strengthens and helps one overcome any hardship

A family cannot win the battle against the devil on their own no matter how hard they try , that is why every home need God to win the battle of life that comes their way. 
 Foundation of your home
  • Christ-  only Christ can raise a standard against  all attacks of the enemy and defeat every foe in your home both spiritually and physically.

  • Bible- 
    as a family, you need to be well grounded in the word of God to build your faith and everyone in the family.


  • Prayer- praying as a family is a weapon to fight the devil. God has given Godly home this weapon to win every battles because it gives you joint victory over every problems. Deu 32;30 - How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up?  Ephe 6; 18- Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

SECURING GENERATION NEXT




Saving the next generation means you have an intention of getting your marriage right  or you have gotten it right. It also means that the well-being, prosperity, and future of a younger generation are protected and supported . As you journey through life, bear in mind that your choices and actions can leave an indelible mark on the children under your care. Let it not be mention in your story that your choices and actions ruined the lives God has places in your care. there are ways parents can safeguard the next generation
    • Being intentional in doing God's will in marriage- The first set of foundation to lay before marriage is knowing God, doing his will , and letting God choose a life partner for you .with this foundation set in place, it will determine the type of marriage, the future or destiny you plan for the children here on earth and their end in eternity

    • Being an ardent role model- we live in a society where content creators and worldly movie actors are setting the standard for what seem right in their own eyes, leaving the upcoming generation to watch and absorb those action and belief. As Godly parents in this world, we need to model what Godly living is, Godly relationships and life lesson for our children to learn and also live by. Rather than allowing our children to learn from the worldly activities of the world. teaching our children the word of God should be used to direct our children towards holy living and what God expect from them. lastly not living a Godly lives should  provides a positive example to follow and model their life rather than the worldly people who have no intention of knowing God or making heaven . 

    • Godly Parental Mentorship- Being a mentor means taking an influential and important role in another person’s life. Christian Godly mentoring is more than self-improvement or personal development. its about showing your children in actions by studying the word of God with them, having fellowship time whereby they can ask question , listening to them and providing answers to their question. showing them that the only way to heaven is having Christ in their heart and to develop and desire to be in a relationship with God.
