Teens go through a lot trying to figure our their identities without the right resources or opportunities, they tend to fall into wrong hands or association. The purpose of God for their life may be threaten. in other for God's purpose to be fulfilled in the life of your children , you as a parent has an important role to play. the best you can do is to empower them. empowering them entails

• Nurturing their strength- this involves encouraging them to set goals, develop healthy habits, and proving opportunities for them to be selfless by volunteering for their community, Providing positive role models and a supportive environment are also crucial.
• Fostering their passions- This process helps the youth to develop confidence, self-awareness, and a sense of purpose by exposing them to children to different hobbies, sports, arts, and academic subjects. These activities may include music lessons, art classes, sports teams, science experiments and vocational learning such as DIY projects
• Instilling Confidence in them to pursue their dreams- as parent it is important to create an environment where the youth can have open communication with you, parent modeling positive self-talk, and seeking professional help when it is needed.

A nation's future is dependent on the quality of youth it produces. Their dynamism, energy, creativity and potentials are the fundamentals for a formidable nation. they are in fact , the backbone, core strength and hope of tomorrow. The youth holds the key to a nation's future, driving societal changes, economic growth and technological advancement. Youth are widely recognized as the future of a nation, holding the potential to drive innovation, progress, and positive change. Their energy, creativity, and fresh perspectives are crucial for shaping a sustainable and inclusive future. Investing in their education, well-being, and empowerment is essential for a thriving society.






King Nebuchadnezzar understood the impact of the youth in nation-building; resulting in his demand that certain of the children of Israel be brought to him; Daniel 1;4 Children in whom was no blemish, but well favored, and skillful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.
As kingdom citizens, we should understand that if our youths are going to fit the bill, as the strength of the nation, captains of industries, renowned scientists, great technocrats, blameless bearers of the oracles of God, and catalyst of revival- they must be trained.






Building youth for success in the nation is a collaborative effort, while we focus on the spiritual life of our children, we should also focus on the Empowering them as they grow in academics, careers, so they can be better citizens to the nation, families, schools, communities, government organizations and also to themselves.

Areas to set our youth for future success

1. Spiritual Growth: 2 Timo 2; 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

• Deepen Biblical Knowledge: Provide Bible studies that go beyond surface level understanding, encourage question and answer session to challenge thinking and doubts. Equip them to defend their faith in a secular world by teaching them how to articulate their beliefs and address common objections.
• Encourage Prayer and Scriptural Reading: Emphasizing the importance of daily prayer and reading the Bible for guidance and strength. Applying the Gospel to Everything: Help them to see how the gospel applies to all areas of life, not just church attendance.
• Spiritual growth of a Christian youth develop will help them to grow into well-rounded individuals who are equipped to live successful and faith-filled lives

2. Character Development: Gal 5; 22-23- 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Set a Positive Example: as a believing parent and guardian, be a role model by setting exemplary living , exhibiting the fruit of the spirit I your daily life.
Teach Honesty and Integrity: Leviticus 19;11 Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another. Encourage them to be truthful and trustworthy in all their actions.
Promote Service and Compassion: Encourage them to help others, both within the church and in the wider community.
Foster Respect and Spiritual Discernment: Teach them to respect others' choices and to discern good influence from bad influences.

3. Practical Skills and Opportunities:

Encouraging service for God: Involve them in planning and leading activities and balancing their academics with fellowship.
Involve them in church Evangelism: Encourage them to share their faith with others through conversations and service.

4. Building a Supportive Community:

Foster Godly Relationships: Encourage them to build Godly connections with other believers who can support and encourage them. - Heb 10; 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Recognize the crucial role of parents in supporting their children's faith journey. 2Corinthians 6; 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
